In early 2014, I set upon a long journey to the other side of the world to volunteer with orphaned kangaroo and wallaby joeys. Little did I know that I’d be participating in a rescue while I was there. Here’s a nail-biting rescue of a baby hit by a car in rural Queensland. (PS- It has a happy ending).
