It was truly a dream come true for me to visit Golfo Dulce in Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. I had envisioned it for nearly a decade before I was approached by Earthwatch to be their Communications Fellow on their volunteer expedition to one of the three tropical fjords in the world- Golfo Dulce. Read about my trip and the threats that the dolphins and whales are facing, and the commitment of the locals and scientists to protecting these marine mammals.
