I’m a New York City-based freelance writer and digital content creator with a focus on travel, pets, sustainability, and conservation. I’ve written hundreds of articles that have garnered millions of views in top print and online publications.
My work has appeared in The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Fodor’s Travel, Travel + Leisure, Forbes, USA Today, Reader’s Digest, Shermans Travel, Cruise Critic, JohnnyJet, Salon, PlanetWare, amNY, Great Pet Care, The Dodo, and Yahoo! among many others.
I brought attention to animal welfare issues as a weekly columnist for NBC’s Petside and a blogger for BarkPost. I’ve created organic branded content for Intrepid Travel, Green Global Travel, Zegrahm, International Expeditions, CVB and tourism websites. Knowing that my storytelling makes a positive difference drives me to produce quality content that’s both inspiring and compelling.
I collaborated with TV host/naturalist Jeff Corwin on an ebook on shark conservation (a dream come true!), and continued my passion for marine protection as an Earthwatch Communications Fellow on their Safeguarding Whales and Dolphins research expedition in Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica.
In the past 15 years as a globetrotter, I’ve had many memorable adventures. Some of them include traveling solo to catch a glimpse of the critically endangered black rhino in Kenya, snorkeling with sea lions in the Galápagos, helping build a school in rural Guatemala, and caring for orphaned wallabies in Australia. I cherish writing about these incredible experiences and causes close to my heart.
